
Cannonball 8000 has a very strong relationship with a broad base of magazines in England, where it is a well established lifestyle rally with a very strong brand. The organiser of Cannonball 8000 wanted to create greater awareness on the arrival of the rally in Singapore, which is taking place in Asia for the first time, as well as to make contact with the media, key automotive brands and clubs in Singapore.
The organizer spent a week in Singapore, during which FLEx organized a round of meetings with all of the key automotive brands and clubs, as well as introductory meetings with regulatory bodies. On top of this, FLEx also arranged a press conference and media mail-out to the key media.
During the week, the rally organiser met all of the premium automotive brands and arising from the press conference was more than $100,000 worth of media coverage.
